Sunday School News

All services welcome newborns up to 2 years old; please meet in the Nursery near the Abel Lounge. At the 9:30 a.m. service all children ages 3 and up meet in the Sanctuary. They are dismissed from the Sanctuary to their age-group classrooms and can be picked up from their classrooms following worship. Please register your child with a teacher.

What is Lend-a-Hand ? It is a group of persons sponsored by the Association of Churches, of which Epworth is an active part, that works with families with significant needs to help them connect with the resources they need to meet their challenges. Hobo's Restaurant is thrilled to be hosting Epworth’s Church Members Wednesday Night dinners at 56 Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth. Hobo's will donate 10 percent of all member dinners to Epworth Church.

Are you aware that Epworth United Methodist Church owns a cemetery on Henlopen Avenue in Rehoboth Beach and grave sites are available for purchase?

The price is $750.00, permitting one casket and one cremation urn or four cremation urns, with a portion of this cost being placed in an endowment fund to pay for the perpetual care of the cemetery. Please contact Jay Stevenson, Cemetery Caretaker, at 302-448-1686 for additional information.

Epworth UM Church Welcomes Deaf Community

The 9:30 am Contemporary Praise! Worship Service now offers an American Sign Language interpreter each Sunday. Epworth is committed through their new deaf ministry to develop programs which will meet the needs of the deaf community's growing population in the beach corridor.

Social Justice Fact

Bryan Stevenson Event Video Now Available

On Sunday, January 25th at 6:30 pm, Epworth UM Church hosted a presentation by Bryan Stevenson, director of the Equal Justice Initiative, Montgomery, Alabama, which is a private, nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to indigent defendants and prisoners who have been denied fair and just treatment in the legal system.

Healthy Church Survey

A Healthy Church Survey of Missions in our Local Churches was completed by our Church leadership in response to a request from the Annual Conference which wants to connect local churches more effectively in their outreach and mission.
